Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a application for a webcam that is screen reader friendly? I have a simple logitech webcam, that sits on top of my notebook screen. Well, the program that controls it, is a pain in my butt!
Any suggestions?
Um, iUm, if you use the Quick Cam ® application, I have made a JAWS file that will make it reaed the graphics and things. Its not a script though, just labed the graphics. I think I still have that file on my computer..

Sorry about that, JAWS was giving me issues, lets try this post again, shall we? What I was basically saying, I have managed to make the Quick Cam ® 10.0 application to be a little bit more accessible by labeling the JAWS Graphics and which, I think I still have that configuration file for it. It will read all the graphics. It took me a while to make JAWS read most graphics, but it works!! I don't think it will read every setting, but will read most of them. Note: This will not read the brightness that you can adjust and the contrast. I didn't put that in there because I didn't think that was important. Sorry for the long post, just had to point ou t some things. What version of JAWS are you using? I have made it for JAWS8.0 (but it might work on earlyer versions of JAWS).

It depends on what you want to do with the cam. If you just want others to be able to see you while you chat with them, you could always use Skype.
Thank you both. I'm using window eyes.
For right now, I actually uninstalled the program and drivers. They seems to make my laptop or window eyes, not sure which, go weird.
I wanted the cam for things like emailing short video messages, or chatting over messenger. I don't have skype.
Any further suggestions?
